Multiple fully-funded PhD Positions, Internships, and Master Theses are available
We invite applications for three fully funded Ph.D. positions in the field AI, Robotics, and Machine Learning. The positions are full-time and for maximum 3.5 years. The salary is about 40K€ per year. The research, publications, and travelling cost will be covered separately by the BMW Group.

Topic 1: Robust multi-modal perception and learning with performance guarantees in robotics and HMI

Topic 2: Visuo-Tactile counterfactual-based deep active learning and decision making in robotics and intelligent interactive systems

Topic 3: Machine learning-based optimal charging policies to improve vehicle's battery life
Eligibility
-
MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Mathematics, Systems and Control, or a related field from only top international universities.

Strong theoretical or mathematical background, and a strong interest in AI, Robotics and Machine Learning.

Advanced programming skills in ROS, C++ and Python are mandatory. The ideal candidate should be familiar with Issac Nvidia, and various machine learning and robotics libraries.

Having at least one publication in top IEEE conferences such as ICRA, IROS, ICML, CVPR, NeurIPS or top journals such as T-RO, AURO, RAL, science robotics, and etc.

Efficient communication skills in English.
